Family Tree Building
Family Tree building is at the core of what we do. A Family Tree contains all known information about the people in your family such as when and where they were born, married, and died, military service records, address and occupation records, prison records and much, much more.
As standard, we give you free online access to your Family Tree. Hard copies can be printed and posted to you at cost should you prefer. Supporting records will also be attached to your Family Tree where possible, with other records provided digitally. We can never guarantee what we will find, nor how far back in time it will go on each family line or branch you wish to learn more about, but as a general rule, most lines can be taken back to the early 1800s. |
DNA Testing We have all seen the AncestryDNA and 23andMe adverts on TV, but what exactly can you get from it?
Our experienced team of Genealogists will start the process with an informal discussion about the pros and cons of each DNA Test available. We will advise which will be best for you in your circumstances, before proceeding to order your test. For adoptees looking to find biological family, Ancestry is usually best place to start, using DNA matches to find your shared common ancestors and begin building a Family Tree from there. For people wanting to learn about inherited health traits, where connecting with biological cousins is only of secondary importance, 23andMe is best. We are more than happy to organise, analyse and organise your DNA results for you, and explain them to you in a clear and understandable manner. |
Specific Ancestor Research
We can conduct searches relating to a specific ancestor for a variety of reasons.
Maybe you had a grandparent, or other family member serve in the military and you would like to know more about their service. We can find and provide you with information such as their assigned unit, service number, rank, prisoner of war records, enlistment documents showing their personal and medical information and more. Or perhaps you have a brick wall with your Family Tree and would like an extra pair of eyes to investigate... For any reason, should their be a Person of Interest in your family that you would like to know more about, we can help! |
